For New York-based developers Sumaida and Khurana, a rising building should serve a far greater purpose than mere shelter. Their 3-year-old company focuses on delivering dazzling additions to the city skyline — specifically, inaugural NYC projects from leading world architects. One of them, Japan’s Pritzker Prize-winner Tadao Ando’s 152 Elizabeth Street condominium — adorned with glass, concrete and burnished-metal touches — launched sales this month with prices from $5.75 million.
