Ground-Up Commercial Building
The first commercial building to be developed in West Chelsea in over thirty years, Sumaida + Khurana affiliate, Foundations Group, in partnership with Peter Moore Associates, developed and served as construction manager for this 65,000 SF, 12-story commercial condominium project in the Far West Chelsea Gallery District. The building is comprised of 27 individual condominium units and is adjacent to the High Line, Manhattan’s linear, elevated park along a former railroad line. Sumaida + Khurana and Foundations Group’s offices are also located in the building. The building reflects the area’s ever-growing stature as a global center for contemporary art and houses art galleries, architecture/design firms, and music industry professionals. The project was completed under budget and on schedule.
